ANU offers support for your safety and security. Here is what to do in an emergency and how to stay safe on campus.
ANUSA Legal Service
Contact ANUSA Legal Service for free and confidential legal advice. They can help with tenancy, migration, visas, work and other legal areas.
ANU COUNSELLING
ANU Counselling promotes mental health and wellbeing within the ANU community. It is a free, confidential and non-diagnostic service available to all currently enrolled ANU students located in Australia.
ANU COmmunity connect
ANU Community Connect (ACC) provides a safe and welcoming space for students to connect with peers, support and community activities. Learn about their no-cost food pantry.
Medical Centre
The on-campus ANU Medical Centre offers free health services to ANU students located on levels 2 and 3 of Health and Wellbeing Centre (Building 156) in Kambri.
SExual assault and harassment support
ANUSA Student Assistance Advisors are trained to respond to sexual violence disclosures. They can help establish immediate security, provide options and assist in restorative justice through internal ANU procedures or external services.
Academic Support
If you need academic support, ANUSA can help with a variety of academic issues including grade appeals, academic misconduct, late withdrawal, show cause notice and more.
Financial Support
If you need financial support, ANUSA helps with direct financial assistance and referrals to services in the community.
